Everything about our short stay at the Lis-Ardagh Lodge was perfect. The house was beautiful and located just outside of the lovely town of Unionhall, the hosts were friendly and made us feel at home away from home, the room was spacious and comfortable, breakfasts are delicious and made to order...need I go on? This was definitely one of the highlights of our trips and we only wish we could have stayed longer!
The apartment had an amazing view! So convenient as it was just a short 10 minute walk to the shop and pubs. The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed. Very comfy pillows! The host was so helpful and went above and beyond to help us out with needs!
The location and views are amazing whatever the weather. Ideal area to explore this beautiful part of Ireland. The lovely owners .. a bonus. .. were so helpful after finding puncture on my rental car !!! The accommodation was spotless and I’m v v fussy!! The bed was extremely comfortable. Just wished I could have stayed a while longer !!

The location of the studio apartment was exceptional. Beautiful views over the bay and the hills beyond and totally quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very friendly and approachable without intruding on us at all.
Shearwater Is a superb place to spend your holiday. We stayed in the Studio for a week and it was just fabulous. The view is magic, we were made to feel so welcome and the area is stunning. We highly recommend Shearwater B and B and country house. Thank you so much Adela.
