Perfect location, great staff (very welcoming), lot of parking. Everything clean. Athlone is a perfect location for a short stayover on your way from Dublin to Galway (Clifs of Mohar). Don't miss the oldest Pub in town
Very friendly host, very comfortable and spacious apartment. Lots of very thoughtful homely touches, including scones, jam and butter, as well as fresh soda bread when we arrived, and some very comfy blankets to snuggle up in front of TV with.
Breakfast was good
Room was disappointing. TV not working, no face towel or hand towel, no box tissue, two very flattened pillows. My neck hurts after sleeping for one night. No rack to place luggage (small luggage).
Cleanliness was fair.
It is a beautiful self contained apartment situated in a lovely rural area. It has everything that you could possibly need and everything that you didn't even realise you needed. It is spacious, full of personal touches and is actually a home away from home, only better than any home you could ever dream of. It's divine!
The location was perfect with all amenities within walking distance. The apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. Nuala & Michael were amazing hosts. They made us feel very welcome and their recommendation of local takeaway was spot on - delicious! I cannot praise them enough and will definately be back again.
