the cottage was very charming! lots of nice decor touches. the drive to the cottage was easy and picturesque. lots of green grass hills with sheep and cows. it's located in a very quiet area without the noise of the city. it was nice to have separate bedrooms. the living room was spacious and well-equipped. all kitchen appliances seemed to work well. check out process was easy.

Very nice one bedroom apartment 30 minutes away from Cork. It has all amenities for an extended stay (but we were only there for one night). Hosts are super stars - very nice and responsive. They recommended a nice local pub nearby that we loved.
If you arrive after sunset, it is pretty dark there, but there is a nice sign on the tree at the bottom of the driveway so you cannot miss it. There is a lot of room to park.

Dierdre was extremely helpful. The grounds and view from the apartment are wonderful. It is a short distance to town, and looks out to the river and the mountains.
Deirdre, the host, is extra kind and helpful with everything you may need. The room is actually a mini apartment with a fantastic view of the surroundings. Cleanliness is over the top and the lodge is packed with all the amenities, even a charging adapter in case you forgot it back home like I did.

We stayed on The Loft for one night. Deirdre was very accommodating to our needs (we requested a microwave) and the self contained loft has everything we needed and more. The small jar of Christmas chocolates were a lovely addition to a well stocked kitchen. We even had our own Christmas tree!
The view from The Loft overlooks the lake which was wonderful even in the rain! Directions from Deirdre and a quick look on street view meant we didn't get lost either.
The room was lovely, with everything you'd need. Our host even provided some scones for breakfast which was a kind gesture. We made use of the shower (not attached to rental), and paid to use the laundry facilities which was great to tackle that to-do item in the evening while we rested up from driving.
The Loft was simply amazing. Exceeded our expectations! The hosts were amazing and catered to every need. Lovely place, lovely people. Will definitely be back to stay here 🙂
The Loft was very comfortable, beautifully appointed & it was so convenient to have access to the kitchenette. It was very thoughtful & appreciated to have breakfast supplies provided. A happy surprise! We loved the view from the bedroom window, seeing the mist rolling in early evening over the adjacent lake & clearing again come morning: very atmospheric !
Beautiful little hideaway from Cork City. Clean and comfortable excellent place with a breathtaking view from the Loft apartment. Deirdre the host super helpful and couldn't do enough would highly recommend this place .Also great value for money .
The Loft ist such a lovely place. There is everythng you need in this cosy.flat. We was a little bit sad, that we only had one night here. Maybe we come back ;o)
