This beautiful guest house is spacious, comfy, and has everything you need for cooking meals. Location wise it’s perfect for day trips around the Connemara area, though you don’t need to venture more than a few feet to take in the beauty of Kylemore Lake. As an added bonus, we loved that it has a dryer to accompany the washer, as we found many accommodations in Ireland do not have dryers. It was easy to communicate with the owner, who was super responsive and provided great local recommendations.

This rental was very spacious and clean. We rented the 3 bedroom because the 2 bedroom was available. It would be great for a family or multiple couples who didn’t mind having only 1 bathroom. We cooked so it was nice there was S & P, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, coffee and tea, + a few miscellaneous things. Beds were great.

Cabin was lovely, on the owner’s house property. It was on me I did not look into the reviews in depth, as the water has an odor to it. Fine for showers but the smell I was not anticipating. Lovely views though

The 1 bedroomed unit was quite small but the hosts upgraded us to their 2 bedroomed, very large and spacious unity upstairs. This because of a late cancellation. That was great as I needed space to work - on line dealing with clients across the world. Wi-fi was great ....

We had a lovely stay, the apartment was new, clean, well furnished, and the position was spot on if you want to explore the Connemara by car.
The view is beautiful, and the apartment is situated in a small village that has some pubs where you can eat, and everyone in very kind and helpful.
If you are looking to enjoy some true time in Ireland, where the nature is Breathtaking, the people are genuine and you are far away from the big cities and the heavy tourism this is the right place for you.

Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was fab and the views were awesome!
We were on motorbikes and when we came out in the morning one of us had a flat tyre - staple stuck in the tread! Mauris, the owner was fab, helped us with a compressor, we tried to fix but our repair kit was faulty so a call was made to one of the staffs husband who came with a repair kit a fixed our puncture! Fabulous Irish hospitality! Thoroughly recommend staying here as nothing is too much trouble 😄👍
Our host Tony sent a lovely welcoming email on the day we were due to arrive and met us as we pulled in. Parking right outside the property is so handy for unloading and loading the car. Immaculate and cosy apartment. Comfortable and modern. Warm, with everything we needed. The most perfect, traditional Irish pub is a 5 min walk away. Taxi bus is available into next village.
Host was lovely. Apartment had everything you need for a self-catering stay. A lovely 5 minute walk to the ocean, 10 minute drive to town and 15 minute drive to Kylemore Abbey. Bed was incredibly comfortable and the view was lovely and peaceful.
