Hosts really went out of the way to be kind and ease our travel woes.
Location was very peaceful. Easy trip into town but far enough away to be tranquil.

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Hosts were extremely friendly and were very accommodating. Beds were comfy. Location was great and view from our room was beautiful.
For travelers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Apartment excellent very clean and well presented and prepared for arrival. Little extras nice touch, coffee machine, plenty of towels and toiletries . Would recommend. Apartment block a bit off putting but no issues quiet and residents friendly.
Fantastic stay at Garden Gates. The hosts were so welcoming and the apartment was perfect. It had everything we needed, including everything for breakfast. Would highly recommend this porperty.
Hosts were so hospitable, welcoming and lovely. Apartment/Cottage was perfect for our stay and beds were so comfortable. Kitchen facilities had anything you needed, nice few bits in the bathroom. Comfy furniture. Self catering but host surprisingly left us tea, coffee, cereal and some lovely bits in the fridge.
Maedhbh was a fabulous host and made our stay a great one. Great location for exploring Mayo, very close to Castlebar and all amenities. The bed was so comfortable and the studio was a great size. Would definitely stay again.
The property is ideally situated just 10/15 mins from Westport. Apartment was spotless and the owners were genuine people. They were exceptional hosts, they had the sofa bed made up for us as well and the fridge was filled with fresh food for breakfast. The ideal location away from all the hussle an bussel. Calm, quiet and well maintained. Very keenly priced would highly recommend. We hope to visit again in the future.
Very quiet location and lovely landscaped gardens. Exceptionally friendly and helpful host. Meadbh insisted on running my wife and into nearby Castlebar (twice) so that could both enjoy a drink. The studio apartment wants for nothing and a full Irish breakfast was provided too.
