What an amazing place and space. The cottage was amazing,so pretty and immaculate. We did not want to leave. Loved time spent with frodo and benji. I've been to lots of air bnb etc and I was blown away y the ultra generous welcome package left to kick of our stay. Our hosts amazing, super friendly and onsite for any need. The apartment was super clean and warm and private in a beautiful location on the island. Very remote but on Achill not at all isolated, especially as our host Gerry was very courteous and supportive and indicated that he would be available only if we needed him or had any questions. Each of the three bedrooms has an ensuite. Plenty of towels and even the basics like shower gels soap and kitchen cleaners and tea and coffee available, all of which you often have to purchase yourself in some places. The extensive tv channels and networks provided alternative entertainment for the very rainy evenings.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal.
