The location is good, when you’re in you feel away from all the hustle and bustle. It is very tranquil, quiet and beautiful. You can rent a bike to get around easier for cheap, but you are also in walking distance to restaurants etc. the bigger marts are a bit further of a walk though so would suggest renting a bike.
The hosts are wonderful, really kind and everything is kind of ran on a trust and honesty policy, you’re not micro-managed. They gave us a lift to the pier at the end of our stay which was very kind. We also organised a day trip to nusa penida through them.
The rooms are in little huts which feel private and quiet. The pool is a good size and clean.

A very nice bungalow accommodation. A private front yard/garden with 2 meter / 6’ walls surrounding the entirety. Good AC, a bit rustic but clean and quaint. Novi the on site manager is a delight, friendly, positive, and accommodating. The front porch is well covered and usable even in the rainy season. The outdoor private bathroom outback is only two steps from the bungalow, so not really a problem when it is raining. We visited during the rainy/monsoon season, so as long as you do your research and know what weather to expect you should be prepared. More rain equals less crowds. The bungalow is ½ block on a dirt road to either the beach and its bars/restaurants/sunsets or to the town's main commercial area in the other direction. Bamboo Bungalow is adjacent to a sister property which has the pool only steps from your room, we did not see a bar onsite (as mentioned in the listing) but that might have been because it was off season. Big fish Divers are on site and we dove with them for two days, very professional and we would recommend them highly (we are both PADI instructors).
We were very happy with our stay and are planning to visit again in the next month or so.

Everyone was so helpful, helped us with ferry transfers, bike rental & sorting out a manta point trip. Did breakfast early for us as we was leaving early in the morning for a day trip & even brought it to our balcony to have as the sun was rising. Couldn’t recommend this place enough if you are staying in Nusa Penida!
We had a very nice stay at Saka Boutique Hotel. We were very well welcomed by the staff and received great advices from Ayu who has always been very helpful and kind. The laundry service was very quick and good, there is filtered water and earplugs available in the room and scooter rental was perfect. We highly recommend this place and thank again Ayu for her kindness.

The rooms were impeccably clean. Scooter rentals were available, and a fantastic restaurant was just a short walk away. The location, right next to the main road, made it easy to get everywhere.

The family who run Meket Bungalows are absolutely lovely. They will do anything for you. We really appreciated the scooter rental, and the private tour Adi booked for us to go and swim with the Manta Rays. He even showed us how to get to the boat by letting us follow him on the scooter. Very friendly and hospitable.
Beautiful little resort with the best staff. The view from the room and pool during sunrise is spectacular. Pick up and drop from the port was smooth. There was a minor issue with the shower in the bathroom which they promptly fixed. Overall the best staff and lovely place for short stay in Penida. They helped us with scooter rentals and laundry too.
This apartment is very special. It is designed beautifully and leads straight onto a private beach. Wonderful to hear the waves all night. The bed - and especially the pillows - were by far the most comfortable I’ve come across in Bali. This would be a gorgeous romantic hideaway, but there are also so many excellent restaurants and beach clubs very close by. And also the wonderful Neste yoga studio and restaurant. I’m coming back! The host and housekeeper were also extremely helpful.
Amazing value for money, nice quiet location, with scooter rental at the property. Really great staff that look after you and go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Gave excellent recommendations on the local area, helped me out when I was stranded with a flat tyre and even dropped me off at the pier when leaving.
