The view from the balcony across the tiny harbor is wonderful. Pomena is a great base for visiting Mljet National Park. The hosts kindly let us store our bags for the day while we rented bicycles and visited the park.

We had an amazing stay at Apartments Angelo! The flat is really big, super clean and comfortable, well equipped to cook a nice meal, with a great terrace with a beautiful view onto the sea. The location is perfect for visiting the National Park - which lakes are only a 30min walk away. Sandra was incredibly warm and welcoming - the loveliest host!

Well equipped and well designed modern apartment with a fantastic terrace and views. Perfect size for a couple, and area is super quiet in the night. Location is fantastic too, ~30 minutes walk from the National Park lakes and close to the NP information (/ticket) point, as well as the only supermarket in Polače and a few restaurants nearby.
The owner was a lovely woman named marry, the rental apartments are on the second floor of her home so she is near by if you need anything. We booked two rooms one for our three kids and one for us, side by side. The views were great and a very short walk to the heart of the village and the beach and national park booth. We stayed for three nights and loved it this island is magical and this small village was great. There is parking near by.
The guest house is located right next to some swimming spots and has a beautiful view of the bay. It's close to the national park and you can take bikes free of charge from the apartment. The owner Željka is super kind and helpful, she organised a rental car for us and we could leave our luggage in the house after checking out. Highly recommend when staying on Mljet.
