This is a lovely spot. About 10 minutes from Hvar, right on the water. This is a 4 generation family operated property. The nicest and most unusual thing about this property is the hosts. They are very family friendly. The kitchen is run by the son who is the main cook and the meals are family style. You have a few choices on the menu and it includes soup, your main course with vegetables/sides dessert, and wine. They make their own wine and bring a bottle to your table. Breakfast is buffet style and there is something for everyone. We were offered transportation to/from Hvar so we could see the sights and our hostess gave us a short history of her family on the island. You are made to feel so welcome. They are there for you and want to make sure you have an enjoyable stay on this lovely island. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The apartment that we rented had two bedrooms. One with a double bed, and one with two twin beds. Each bedroom had its own bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink. There was also an A/C unit in each bedroom. There was a small kitchen with a table. There was no sitting room (an observation, not a criticism), but a fairly large outdoor balcony to sit out on.
The apartments share a swimming pool with the villa above it. There are some stairs to climb to get to it, but it is a very nice small pool that was very refreshing. The lounge chairs were comfortable.
The apartment was *spotlessly* clean when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed in terms of plates, cutlery, cooking supplies, etc. there was a good sized fridge and a two burner stove.
The unit is a two minute walk from the Milna Beach at the end of the road. A few minutes along the shore is another beach. Milna has three or four restaurants right in the water, and a small bakery. It is a lovely quiet little village. The drive into Hvar is approximately 10 mins and about €20 in taxi fare. I wish we had stayed longer.

I stayed in the upstairs apartment that did not have the pool. It was lovely. Extremely clean and very comfortable. Bed fantastic and views were wonderful. Parking was out front of flat and hostess was always in communication before and during the stay. There are quite a few stairs to get down to the main port which seems fairly normal for Hvar if that is a concern… but worth the quiet location during the busy season. The location was about 10-15 min walk to the main city center where all the action is and the walk is lovely with the water on one side and a couple of restaurants and gift stands on the way. There is a good restaurant right next door to the apartment. Host is helpful with suggestions on where to go to eat and short cuts to the town.
