What can i say... Agia Roumeli is just an unreal place to visit. It is inundated with people arriving from walking down the Samaria gorge in the afternoon but when the ferry leaves at about 5.30, it is just so nice and quiet. There are numerous restaurants, some with fab sea views. Couple of lovely supermarkets and people are so friendly.
The apartment is fabbb.... very spacious and the host is so helpful and friendly. Views to the sea and mountains behind. Very clean and comfortable, basic facilities for cooking, but so many restaurants for greek food... why would you cook... love this place

It's a very comfortable apartment with a great pool where we were almost always alone. Plenty of nice sunbeds to lie around next to the pool. Lots of free parking spaces. Only approximately 15 minutes drive from beautiful Chania.
The apartment had everything we needed, good air-conditioning, well equipped kitchen, cosy mattresses, a comfy terrace with a view of the hills.
There are all the necessary shops nearby, a good restaurant just right next door.
The owner was really helpful, he recommended lots of great places to visit, to have dinner etc.
We would be happy to return!

It was a clean, beautiful, comfortable accomodation. The host was very very kind. He provided some presents for us and asked what we need. When we arrived we dont have to go to buy soap, dishwashing liquid etc. It is important for me that the host pays attention for small thing like this.

Very good value for money, clean apartment with a very nice pool that can be closed in case of bad weather. If you want to stay in the mountains after a hike would recommend to stay at Omalos Village.
Typical Cretan accommodation, good, basic facilities that were clean & perfect for a short stay. Good traditional food available too. The location is perfect for access to walk the Samaria Gorge.
The apartments are pretty modern and are perfect for a day of relaxation in the mountains. There are sheep and goats around and you will find everything you need for preparing your own food. A big plus is the tavern of the owner which is located next to the apartments. You can buy food and drinks and the owner is always available for any questions you may have.
The service is exceptional and as we went to hike the Samaria Gorge the day the owner gave us a ride to the entrance which is 4km away. 🙏
