It's fair to say we left part of our hearts in Moutsouna. This gorgeous wee fishing village quickly became our favourite spot in the world to date, and Bella Vista Mare was the icing on the cake.
The attention to detail at the property is beyond compare. From electronic shutters to beach towels, it contains everything you'll need and more. Super comfortable bed. Quiet location. Unbeatable sea view.
It is an easy ride to the village from the port by bus. On arrival you'll find everything within a very short walking distance. A swimming beach with crystal clear water. 3 restaurants/bars sitting by the seaside. A cafe and bakery offering the most amazing freshly baked treats, and a mini market for stocking the fridge. Interesting history abounds in the form of the now memorialised emery mining operation for those that are looking for a little exploration.
I cannot end this review without special mention of our host, Martha, who goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is everything you want it to be. Thank you for treating us like family!

In the quiet beach town Moutsouna the white House was situated between the sea and a beautiful landscape of hills and the mountains in the back. We loved it very much. Especially the terrace with the sound of the sea, the bells of sheep and the voices of the goats from the hill. Quiet, very tastefully styled and with all equipment you need in the kitchen. And very nice Hosts. Thank you! We had a very relaxing time!

Everything exceeded our expectations. The location is amazing, no tourists nearby, you practically get a private beach just 100m from your appartment, which is great for diving due to the very interesting underwater landscape. We had an upperfloor apartment so we could see the sea from the terrace when we had lunch outside. The apartment has everything you need, including a very cute kitten and dog outside. The location is quite remote, which we really loved, but we recommend a car to get around. The owner is really nice! We will definitely come here again!

The room was perfect for me and my friend. Our host was kind and helpful. The apartment was equipped with all the essentials plus some thoughtful extras. Georgia very graciously offered us a late check-out on our departure day because it was raining. That was a lovely gesture.

The location is in a beautifull mountain village and the house is perfect.
You do need a car to comfortabel go around and the host helped us so we had a car upon arrival. The house is sweet and warm welcoming. Possible to sit outsite on a kind of roof terras. In the evening people are all outsite talking to eachother and you can join in for a drink or food. Its not full of tourist but very greek . Beautifull and the house made the stay at Naxos a memory that ll last forever

The apartment and location were fantastic and following a 6 night stay on the island, it was positioned on the side which we preferred. The area is quiet and so relaxing but with a mini market, bars and restaurants still in short walking distance. We were very warmly welcomed by our host and made to feel at home from the off. Lovely location, right on the beach. Beautiful sea view from a very comfortable balcony. Peaceful. The family apartment is very spacious with 3 bedrooms and very nice finishes. Also nice bathrooms, seems like they have been updated/renovated. 25 minutes drive on the coast line to Polermos beach which is a great day trip and a must to visit. Also a mini market, bakery and 3 restaurants in close walking distance.
Best place we stayed during our visit to Greece and the islands. Great location - peaceful and opposite a lovely beach. Apartment very clean and spacious. Good breakfast with homemade pastries and jams - even got given some homemade jam to take home with us. About an hours drive from the port so need transport but definitely recommend staying here for moutsouna itself as a village and learning the history of emery mining to the fantastic unspoilt beach at panoramas.
The apartment is very spacious with a great view from terrace (sea is in front). Moutsouna is very nice quite and cozy place at this time (late June). The beach in front is with clear water. There are 3 local restaurants and mini market where you can find most of the things.
Theoni was a wonderful host. She gave a warm welcome, provided information and was on site to answer any queries. The top floor, one bedroom apartment was spacious, well equipped with two balconies and wonderful views of the coast and the sea. The sandy beach is at the bottom of the garden, with comfortable access to the sea. Whilst the small port, not far away, has good restaurants Theoni also provided very good value and delicious Greek meals.
Our host was welcoming and warm, attentive to all of our needs. We bought a delicious breakfast and meal from her. The apartments are private, well furnished and comfortable. The place is so quiet and peaceful, away from the touristy towns and right on a lovely secluded beach with little corners protected from the high winds that prevailed when we were in Naxos. It is an ideal place to rest and enjoy the sea, 12 minute drive from Moutsouna. Highly recommend!

The apartment is very close to the sea, very clean and quiet. We stayed for 10 days and the people from the village welcomed us very warmly. Nick is very kind and picked us up from Apeiranthos village with his car, which is useful if you’re traveling out of season without a car since there are no busses to Moutsouna from mid-September. We would definitely come back, and recommend this place and the beautiful unspoiled Eastern Naxos in general :D
Stunning location, 50m from a wonderful swimming beach. Beautiful studio with sea view balcony and comfortable beds. Easy walk to 3 restaurants, a mini market and a cafe. Remote and not crowded coast where a car is essential. Probably our best stay in the Greek Islands. So glad we paid the bit extra to have one of the studios with sea view and kitchenette. Nice staff and small bar on site.
