AVAL is a an absolute gem of a hotel ran by father and son duo. Our room was spotless and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace. Also for all of you planning to stay in the hotel- take tips about restaurants and places to visit from the owners. They actually know what they are recommending. 😊

We were two families and the apartments were next to each other which made it perfect to spend family time but still have our own privacy. The host was attentive and the point of contact was his agent Katrina who made our stay so easy and enjoyable. Excellent communication, attentiveness, quick response and accommodating. Exactly what you would want when away to make everything easy and smooth. The place is close to other more popular destinations where it would be much more expensive to stay but here you still get a quality of service, interior and atmosphere. There is a lovely church at the entrance, the opposite of the apartments and you get to have the full Santorini experience with the ringing bells. It can be quite early in the morning so if you are a light sleeper it might wake you up, it didn't bother us, the inner bedrooms are isolated enough to not hear it, the ones in the open space would hear it but the windows are double glazed so again not an issue for us. You can visit the rest of the island easily with local car hire (host can help with that too) and there is plenty of food shops and restaurants that are walking distance from the apartments. I would highly recommend.

I stayed at Thiramor House with my family for 4 nights. The apartment was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. It was well-equipped with everything we needed, especially for the babies. Kate had everything prepared prior to our arrival: a baby cot, a baby chair, plastic plates and cutlery, and even a hand blender which proved incredibly useful for making baby food. The apartment itself is modern, tidy, and aesthetically pleasing. The presence of a jacuzzi added to the experience. Its location is highly convenient: - Just 3 minutes drive from restaurants and supermarkets - A 10-minute drive to Fira - A 10-minute drive to Kamari - 15 minutes drive from Oia - 20 minutes drive from Perivolos Kate was consistently available to address our questions and assist us in person when needed. Although we encountered a minor misunderstanding with the taxi driver Kate had arranged for us, she kindly offered to cover the cost of the return taxi, which we greatly appreciated. Our time at Thiramor House was fantastic, and we would certainly choose to stay here again if we ever revisit Santorini.

We had the best time at Radiant Santorini. The rooms are beautifully and lovingly decorated and very special as they are cave rooms. The room was very clean and hygienic. Our absolute highlight was the private jacuzzi. The owner Evi as well as Giannis were super nice and helpful at all times. Breakfast was served in the room / on the private terrace and includes everything that belongs to a breakfast. We can highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you Evi and Giannis for an unforgettable stay. We will be back again!

The apartment was VERY clean, modern and spacious. Everything you could need plus a jacuzzi 😉. The host Nikos is a diamond! Really nice and helpful. Will highly recommend and certainly will come back should I have the opportunity to visit this wonderful island again.

Beautiful property in a very nice and quiet location. Apartment was cleaned daily and had all the necesities. If you run out of something at some point (like I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews), just ask. Everybody was very nice and extremely helpful. Due to the hot weather, we needed help with a car rental on a short notice and in a couple hours with Aris’ help we had a very nice car delivered at the property doors. The owners who also live there don’t speak English, but it’s a good chance to learn a few Greek words for common things. There are 2 supermarkets/ATMs etc not very far, although it’s a bit of a walk to the main road where they are located, so especially in the middle of summer would say it’s better to rent something for moving around, even more so as the main attractions are outside Mesaria (which is centrally located, so 10-15 kms at most in any direction, the island is not very large).

Location, the accommodation is located in a very convenient place, 2.5 K from airport, local bus stop at door way, the local bus take you to airport, ferry port and Fira the centre of Santorini for independent travels, also local supermarket bakery and restaurant are right at front of the apartment. Also the apartment is located in Messaria, one of the best town/villages in Santorini to stay, as it is easy access to with travel suitcases for the new arrivals. Apart from the location, the apartment has everything you need like home, the bed is comfortable for a good sleep and the bathroom is specious and hot water is good flow, especially the friendly host is the best, more than helpful for information on bus timetable and the way to get to attractions

Hotel is very close to the city centar, it is very clean, and personnel is friendly and very helpful. It exceeded our expecatations. Santorini vibe at its most.
