The apartment is exactly as seen in the photos. It is located in an extremely quiet area, close to a school and except for the hours when parents pick up their children, there is hardly anyone passing on the street in front of the property. Especially at night. In relation to privacy, I have to say that at the time we stayed there, it was just us in our wing almost all the time. The biggest advantage of the place though is its spotless cleanliness. During our almost two-week stay, Christy, who probably also owns the property, changed our sheets and towels and cleaned the bathroom every other day. So when we were coming back from a beach or a walk, we were pleasantly surprised by the treatment. Last but not least, I must mention that on the evening of our check-in, she was waiting for us outside the building to give us the keys and three bottles of water, wine and beer were left in the fridge as a compliment.
Otherwise the apartment has everything we needed - working washing machine and laundry detergent, fridge, iron, air conditioning in every room, dining table, stove, kitchenette, balcony and parking. A plus is the relatively close and nice restaurant with local cuisine, and in a 15 min walk (or a few minutes drive) is the village where there are more restaurants, a hypermarket, a pharmacy and a beach. To fully enjoy the island itself, however, you must rent a car. Personally, as someone who researches ancient cultures, the location of the place was very convenient for me because it is located between the archaeological sites of Knossos, Malia and Phaestos, as well as the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion.

The view from the rooms is great, the breakfast selection is nice - even if a bit repetitive, the pool area is clean and well maintained. The room was cleaned daily and anything I asked for was done. The late checkout at 12 is comfortable and I was offered to leave my luggage for a late flight. Very kind! The room looked much better than expected, I believe I got great value for money.

Both of the bartenders are AMAZING!! They were the best part of our entire 3 weeks trip to Greece. The pool is great, the view is spectacular. Rooms are clean and have large balconies. It is a quiet property at night but the pool bar is open until 1am. Even though it is at the end of the street and you have to walk to all of the restaurants, once you get home for the night the bar is lovely and open late.

We had a great time at Julie's apartments! The place was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Julie and Manthos were great, welcoming hosts. They provided us with all the information we needed as well as with assistance when we had a little health issue. There are local beaches near by as well as a bus stop if you'd like to explore other parts of the island. There are also lots of supermarkets and restaurants close by. Overall a great place!
We spent one week in the Anthula apartment. It was a very good time. The landlords are very kind and friendly people and helped us rent a car. There is daily cleaning service. The apartment is perfect for families with one or two children, with two bedrooms and a large balcony surrounding the apartment, offering a view of the sea and Dia island. The location is perfect: 20 meters to the beach, 5 minutes to the bus stop, grocery store, and restaurants.
The apartment was clean and fine for the purpose of our trip - short stay after getting off a ferry. Very close to bus-stop for Heraklion and the airport. Wouldn’t choose to go there for a holiday.
The hospitality of the owners Giorgos und Stella was Truly extraordinary. For this money we got really nice apartment with everything what is needed to comfortable 10 days stay. As additional advantage we can point pool and bar belongs to Olgas Studios.
