I had a fabulous time at this property. Everything was exactly like in the photos less the beautiful sunsets for which you have to be there to see them in person. Pictures don't capture the beauty. From the location, right next to the sea and the Sanctuary if the Great Gods, to the facilities, the comfort and cleanness of the room, everything was exquisite.
To top it all, the hosts, Yannis and Aris have made sure we had a wonderful time and feel like we have made really good friends. Very attentive to our needs, extremely helpful ( we had a flat tyre - they helped us get in the village center, get the tyre fixed), they made great recommendations on what to do on the island, great conversations - they truly are the perfect hosts and we thank them for a unforgetful experience. We are pretty sure will come back next year.
For travelers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. The apartment was very close to the port. The owner was very kind and sweet, upon the arrival, she even offered us a limonade. The garden was very beautiful, it was a really nice place to watch the sunset and just relax.
The studio accommodation was in a quiet area at the rear of the town, so there was no disturbance. The owner and his wife were welcoming and helpful. They do not speak English so if, like me, you need to contact them about a delay, this could be a problem. Fortunately, Panagiotis understood my Greek! However, they will try to help you, anyway.
This is the first place that i have stayed that honestly and 100% deserves a 10. The host was amazing and extremely helpful and friendly. He will help with anything you need. Our apartment was cleaned daily and we got fresh clean towels every day. The host brought us fruits cakes daily. When we left he gave us homemade olives and wine. Truly exceptional. Other than that, the place is in a great location, close to the port with grocery stores, restaurants and coffee places nearby. Highly recommended.
I and my partner had a very nice week at Villa Maria. Our studio was big, safe, comfy, clean and quiet. We had almost all amenities for a home; kitchen tools, fridge, TV, air conditioner, mosquito nets, hair dryer etc. A smiling lady cleaned our place and renewed our sheets and towels every day. The host was incredibly friendly and hospitable. His and his grandmother’s caring made our trip unforgettable! Thank you for all! :)
