Hersonissos is a party town with loud music until the morning. But Aris studios was just the right distance away to have a quiet room while the distance was just two buildings down from the closest party life.
The hotel has diving masks, water shoes, umbrellas and one bike to rent out free.of charge, which was super helpful. These little things really make a difference in the comfort of the stay.
I was working remotely while I was staying there and the Wifi worked very well. I hear it is a problem in other places in Greece, but no problem with the internet here.

We were blown away by this lovely little complex, the apartment was spacious and clean with all the amenities you could want. The staff were lovely and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The location was perfect for days on the beach, afternoons in a taverna or a bus trip to explore further afield. We will definitely be back!
It was a very clean, specious and comfortable apartment. The owner was very helpful and friendly, and so were the other members of staff. She responded to our communications previous to our arrival very quickly and welcomed us at 5 am since we arrived in a very early ferry. The pool was clean and warm. The place is ideal for a family of four. The price of the room was good value for money.
Everything was perfect! The rooms are better than the pictures, there is everything you need in the apartments including beach towels, supplies in the bathroom and welcome gifts. Also there are games for the children and enough coffee for the parents. The host is very friendly, always available and helpful. There is a supermarket below the hotel and very nice restaurant in the next building. The view from the roof apartment is amazing - the sea and the sunset!
A studio apartment right on the sea-side, with good space for us as a couple. A balcony overlooking the sea and a small kitchen area made staying there a pleasure. Right by a number of restaurants, cafes and shops and a short walk from the main street in Gouves.
Great little apartment. Really wish I had booked the full front facing sea view though. I did have a bit of a view of the sea and it was pleasant to sit on the terrace for breakfast. lovely big bed and decent sized apartment. Wi-Fi was good and kitchen was well enough equipped for a short stay. Loved going to the pool area next door. Sonia was great as a host: responsive, friend and helpful.

The apartment is in a great location, very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. There is also a bus stop around a 7 minute walk away which has buses from the airport and to Herakleion and other areas. We rented a car from John and Mary rentals and drive around the East side of the island, and it was a great base for us!
Everything was very clean and Maria was around to help if we needed it. She's also a very kind and welcoming lady!
The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated with everything you needed. The property itself was very cosy, with a lovely outdoor area. A very nice location, with a short distance to the beach. Stella and Mano were incredibly nice and helpful all week. This rental unit is highly recommended!
Loved the studio, we had the rooftop terrace with sunloungers so didn't need to go to the beach, so much outdoor space with the best sea view and spectacular sunsets. Host Alex and the owner were so helpful, and gave us great restaurant recommendations. Owner allowed us use of another apartment to shower/change on our last day as our flight was not until midnight, we thought that was a lovely gesture, very kind of him.
