This property is exceptional. We would have stayed a week if we could. It’s particularly cosy and nice. Also, even if it’s not related directly to the property, there is no mosquito so you can enjoy the outside.

The view! The hotel should be renamed the View as the view doesn't get any better than this. There was everything you needed from air-conditioned bedrooms to a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a rainshower. The bedrooms were simple but beautifully decorated and the beds were as comfortable as clouds as were the pillows. Mosquito nets were also provided. Parking available on site. Hosts were friendly and accomodating and strangely enough you almost started understanding French when listening to the host :). There was a lovely-looking pool on the premises that we did not use because we prefer swimming in the ocean. Location is great right next to the famous Malendure beach and not a long car ride away from Grande Anse which is excellent for swimming laps or beach walks. Overall, we were surprised how beautiful and lush Basseterre is and must come back to spend more time on it and explore the sights and hikes amidst the rainforest. This time we spent more time on Grande Terre which is also beautiful but much more crowded.

The location was beautiful with amazing views of the landscape and the ocean. The grounds were well maintained with beautiful plants everywhere. There was a Zen quality with a water fountain and other positive additions. The owners Nicola and Alberta were very gracious and warm. The apartment was very nice and equipped with all the necessary things. It is situated in a gorgeous garden with colibris that visit. The host was very nice and welcoming and could be approached with any questions.
Very hospitable host. Suzy welcomed us with some fresh fruit and bottled water. We toured the apartment with her, and she explained how everything works. The view from the terrace is spectacular. Ideal for watching the sunset. The location was also very convenient to reach all the daily activities we had planned.

Maison Rance is an absolute pearl on the west coast. Apartment is full of light, view is inspiring, bedroom very comfortable and fresh. You can cook facing the sea and rest on the terrace on a very big couch admiring waves,nature and in our case full moon. The host welcomed us with fresh mangoes and fruits directly from his garden and big smiles. We are just very sorry we couldn't communicate better with the owners because of our bad French. Lovely place, really suggested.
spacious clean 2 bedroom apartment located 5 minutes walk from the harbor. clean with all facilities, kitchen, washing machine, dryer. spacious balcony with a great view. attentive reception by Maxime who had sent me a WhatsApp before arrival to fix a meeting point. no hidden costs.
Once we found it, the location was perfect and check in easy. The hosts are extremely kind, accommodating, welcoming and generous. We stayed in the 1-bedroom apartment as the 2-bedroom was needed for a larger group. But the 1-bedroom was lovely for a couple. The veranda was delightful. Convenient to many aspects of Basse-Terre -- Deshaies area, Pointe-Noire, Rue de Traverse, etc. Highly recommend this lodging
Everything! The place is amazing-very spacey, clean, with nice view and beautiful garden. The owners are more than kind-very cordial and warm couple/Suzy and Roland/ . We became friends after that visit and that was one of the best vacation in my life, mostly because of them and their apartment.
Big, independent apartment in the house. Very calm at night, during day some typical noises of farm including machines. Require a car to have access to beaches etc. Entrance from very sinuous road might be tricky especially for the first time and at night.
