By far the best place I've stayed in in the Gambia. The owner, Claudette is great, and so are the staff. Everyone was very friendly and extremely helpful. The location is perfect if, like me, you don't like resorts and want a bit of interaction with the local people. It's a residential area, far from the touts, but close enough to walk to the beach or the better restaurants.
The room is great, with a well accommodated kitchen and a fridge, hot water always running, nicely decorated and a wonderful sitting area. There's also a shop that sells locally made products, like honey, yogurt and shea butter. Profits go to their organization that helps to cure burns on children.

A lovely place to stay. Clinton. Charlie and staff are amazing. Only a 10 minute walk to beach shops and restaurants. Rooms cleaned daily. Felt very secure in accomodation. Nice quiet pool area.

This was a very cozy ground floor apartment with private pool as well as access to the community pool which is steps away. The beach is also steps away and you can sit on the patio and see the ocean view. The atmosphere was welcoming and this location is within walking distance of Senegambia Restaurants and clubs. There is also a Restaurant next door. I just love that the apartment was CLEAN, with nice functional modern furniture. The host was very friendly, accomodating, and responsive to my questions. I would recommend this place especially if you want to feel comfortable away from home.

First, I was placed in the wrong apartment; which caused me to alter my plans, so that I could pay *wronged" apartment owner.
I Paid for their mistake!!
On site manager. Fatou never apologized, and felt it was necessary to interrupt my Sunday dinner with verbal nonsense. I told her she would get paid. WHICH I DID..
EVEN in that apartment, we did not have air conditioning, television, Nor internet - again she did not offer a reduce rate, for my inconvenience.. I"m The Guest..!!!
Once sorted, the Right apartment required me to pay for Electricity.. That is absolutely ridiculous @!! After first day in right apartment, I found myself purchasing electricity in a foreign country.. Wow@,
I would have never chosen an apartment where I have to purchase electricity for a 4 day stay!!!!
Finally, after checkout I receive a text from Right owner Donovan, saying wrong apartment owner has not been paid... Really...

Breakfast was not included which I thought it was. I feel that I should not have had to prompt cleaners to clean or leave toilet paper, but the cleaners were amiable and pleasant. The room/apartment is dated and could do with an uplifting in terms of kitchen and shower area. The staff were friendly and willing to help.
big apartments, very close to beach at a nice active street. nice welcoming staff. cash automat, taxi and city just minutes walking away from the apartment. Felt like being at home here, way better than in bigger resorts and everything was flexible. Garden and pool area were nice and clean. i would go there again:D
Attentive, friendly and helpful staff. Nice large apartment, I was upgraded to a 2 bed one. 4 poster and Queen size bed. Roomy bathroom attached to main bedroom. Management and staff were always ready to resolve any issues.
