Well equipped clean flat, Bob met us directly to explain how everything worked. Lovely to have milk, tea and coffee left for us. It is on the outskirts of Whitehaven but the number 2 bus stop is just a few steps away from the flat taking you directly into town. Easy to get a taxi if you need to come back late.

Had a very pleasant stay here. Had a warm welcome and appreciated the little gifts left for us. A cosy little place and we enjoyed the homeliness and having everything we needed. Great location with an easy drive to many great walks and also the coast only being 20 minutes away.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Well located, opposite the park and a short walk to the town centre.
Good breakfast and evening meal options.
Very helpful staff.
Room was ok size and had everything needed for a short stay.
self catering , host had left milk tea sugar coffee and biscuits in the kitchen and a bottle of wine in the fridge
towels , toilet rolls, hand wash and washing up liquid all already available
Met by Paul, the owner, showed to our room & given information about the area.
Parking just outside the hotel.
Comfortable bed & good bathroom.
USB ports by the bed which is fantastic for international travellers.
Breakfast was great and the ladies in the kitchen were very accommodating in letting us use our own coffee pot for our morning 'fix'.
The Customer Service at The Waverley is always high standard. They helped us above and beyond. My husband had a bad back prior to staying at The Waverley and the staff were very helpful in letting him use the shower across the hall instead of the shower/bath we had in our room until we could be moved due to a full house. Also the food was fantastic at breakfast, hot and plentiful. The restaurant is also a great [place to eat with many delicious dishes to choose from.
Property has everything you need and was comfortable and very clean. The communal area downstairs was great and there was lots in the kitchen for self catering. Washer and dryer was great after our trip hiking. It was a bonus that we had the place to ourselves over the weekend too.
