The apartment truly was home away from home. Everything was very lovingly prepared and arranged. We loved to have good cooking ware. We love Elibank and have stayed multiple times in the B&B, as well as the apartment. It's in a glorious garden setting, from which there is an easy path down to the River Tweed and the possibility of walking along the river side, into Walkerburn. Hosts are extremely helpful and friendly. Bedrooms comfortable and very clean. Home-made biscuits were a nice touch.
Apartment was excellent - very well equipped. Location peaceful - we enjoyed the walks from the estate and access to the River Tweed. Hosts were quick to respond to any requests and sort out a few minor problems.
Elibank Apartment is very comfortable, well-equipped accommodation in a lovely setting. There are lots of good walking/cycle paths in the area and easy access to Borders towns such as Peebles, Innerleithen, Selkirk, Melrose and Kelso. The nearest village, Walkerburn (2.5 miles) has a great cafe (Caberston Farm), a local grocery, a play-park and some nice riverside walking. Our hosts - Eleanor, Adam and Rosemary - were helpful and always ready to chat, whilst giving us plenty of space.
Beautiful apartment set in fabulous surroundings. Perfect for anyone wanting instant access to stunning countryside. Hosts very welcoming and provided extra homely touches with homemade biscuits. Will definitely return.
The apartment was fantastic. We'll appointed and spotless and Great value for money. Beautiful walks around the grounds, down by the river and gardens. Kids and our dog loved it! Eleanor and her family were very friendly and welcoming and we had a great time chatting with them. It is a working estate and kids were fascinated watching the machinery from a safe distance, while the dog spent his time keeping his eye on the Pheasents.
