The place is not far from busy Edinburgh, which is a plus during the festival.
I guess it helps to have a car to go to Edinburgh and back, but the train station is not that far either. Just be mindful of the train schedule on Sundays 😬.
The flat was clean and spacious, with a large bedroom and all facilities available for a self catering stay. Although we did not use it much (just for tea and coffee), the kitchen was equipped with all necessary in case you want to prepare a quick breakfast or even a meal.
Flat has a back garden where the smoking partner could had his occasional fix.
Overall, this flat provided everything we needed for a memorable holiday!

Beautiful accommodation, quirky interior and lovely little extras
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
The apartment is decorated very well and has everything you need. The best: there are some toys for the kids in the garden. Parking space included via the garden door and a supermarket right next to the house. Really comfortable beds. Fully equipped kitchen. And they left some muffins in the kitchen that were delicious!! :)
A lovely little cottage in a quiet suburb. Gorgeous safe garden out the back with many kids toys for my son to play with. Very well stocked kitchen and flat. Check-in was easy and we loved our stay. Springy beds and very cosy overall.
Nice little extra touches which were appreciated.
Ice cubes in the freezer I had brought 2 ice trays, but didn't need them.
Nice muffins left out for arrival.
Although I didn't need them , there were umbrellas available in back garden.
Nice friendly local bar only a short walk away.
And excellent chinese Chinese take away right across the street.
I never cooked anything, but everything was available for self catering.

What a beautiful flat - just a wonderful place to stay and we just regretted that it was only for one night. It's beautifully decorated, has everything you could ask for, very spacious and then there's the garden too, which is a real bonus. Also, Carla was very responsive even before we arrived and there were muffins waiting for us. We would love to stay there again and for a longer period this time. We can highly recommend the place!
