The owner met us and handed over the keys on arrival and was very welcoming and informative. He explained shortcuts to the high street, where the supermarkets were and gave us a free parking permit to use in the car park opposite. The location could not be better as it’s a short step to a multitude of restaurants, bars and the market. There was milk in the fridge, plenty of kitchen equipment, crockery etc, the basic condiments in the cupboard and washing up liquid provided. There was a lovely bunch of fresh roses on the table.

Self contained private flatlet with everything I needed to make it a lovely stay. A friendly helpful host, quiet and great location. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with lovely decor. Thoughtful touches such as provision of dairy and oat milk in the fridge and delicious biscuits. Even lovely natural toiletries.

It’s was modern,clean, tidy and had the perfect finishing touches that made you feel at home. They really made you feel welcome by providing tea,coffee,milk and all the things you need to cook. Perfect location to the beach and easy parking. Stair gate was an amazing touch that show they really care about your stay!

The location was excellent, easy walk into Paignton and also to Goodrington beach. The flat was clean, well laid out, spacious and had everything you needed. And the host was available if you needed them (which we didn’t, but they let you know how to contact them if there were any problems)
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Very interesting. Wonderful gardens. Great breakfast. Excellent staff and though I had to request a bathmat for the shower, one was provided straight away. I suggest having them available in each room. More important than the fan, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. At least put a notice up clearly telling guests to request one if required. I say this as I broke my ankle in a rental not long ago and received substantial compensation from the letting company.
Beautiful very large studio apartment, excellent facilities and everything was thought about. Good range of helpful things left such as cleaning products, foil etc. The hosts had left a bottle of wine and bread/butter/milk which was very thoughtful! A very relaxing stay, wish we had longer!

Hosts were friendly and polite but the studio was nice and private.
Tucked in a quiet Devon valley, surrounded by a beautiful garden and countryside the Studio is a perfect location for getting away. The Apex flat has great facilities, we mostly self-catered, buying fresh fish locally, and comfortably furnished. The velux windows offering great views and ventilation in the hot weather. We enjoyed eating in the set aside area. In the shared garden, our friendly hosts were very careful to guard our privacy.
This really is a little gem. Although very close to the High Street it is exceptionally quiet. The view from the balcony over the garden is lovely. The apartment is fully equipped with all you need for self catering. Comfy bed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
