The place was absolutely amazing ! A big bedroom, a nice living room / kitchen and a bathroom were in the house. The surroundings were really beautiful and quiet. The house was very cozy and decorated with great taste. I could also meet the host Janet (who's living in the house next door of the accommodation) and she was very very nice !

Loved absolutely everything. Literally everything. Clean, comfortable, well laid-out and well furnished. Very well located. It was awesome to be staying in a place with historical significance to Kirkwall - and a tower, no less! Karen was wonderful and very kind. Highly highly highly recommended. Will absolutely be staying here again!

Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Loved the location and gorgeous property and views. Amazing house for a big group to use as a base for Stromness (and we got Shopping Week!). Excellent beds, lovely kitchen table to sit round after tiring day and great living room. Would go back for a longer trip fully self catering.

Everything worked! Excellent hot water and cosy warmth throughout the day and night.There was everything you could need for cooking and self catering. The washing machine was useful for a long stay. The shower was excellent. The decor was ok. TV and Wi-Fi were great.
