Ropewalk cottage is beautifully decorated, extremely well equipped for the perfect relaxing getaway. On our arrival there was a beautiful welcome basket full of goodies plus milk, butter, cans of drinks, fresh orange juice plus a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need to cook any meal you choose.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Strangford is such a lovely village and the Castle apartment was perfect . Ian the host was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond . Highly recommend the Castle Apartment

We love staying at this apartment. It is beautifully designed and furnished and you have everything you need. The location is perfect for a village stay, with the Cuan, the Artisan and the Hole in the Wall pub all within walking distance, and a couple of good grocery shops. We were lucky with the weather this July and enjoyed good walks at Kilclief and Ballyhornan beaches
The hosts are very attentive. We had a problem with the TV and that was sorted out the same day.

Lovely little holiday rental in a great location just a short drive from Downpatrick with easy and cheap access across the lough by the ferry from strangford.

Host was great, even replying to queries from us despite travelling for work at the time we stayed and had left us fresh daffodils, a lovely welcoming touch!
Beautiful apartment. You can see that there's a lot of love gone into decorating the place - it doesn't feel like just a holiday rental. Clean, spacious and fully equipped. 2 mins walk from the Village. Didn't meet the hosts in person but they were so lovely to deal with and gave us lots of info by email and a late check out.
