The cottage was beautiful, well equipped and clean.
Comfy bed and sofas.
Private parking on the drive.
The breakfast basket and freshly made scones was a very nice touch.
The staff, Hilda responded to messages immediately and we checked in an hour early. We had planned to go to the pub down the road but it was closed for 2 weeks as the current road closure made as supermarket trip a long way.
There is a Dobbies and B&M a little drive away so we took lots of provisions as arrived after a Sunday event so early closure.
The location was great for our visit to Shepton Mallet flea market and Glastonbury.

First of all the owner showed us warm hospitality. I really enjoyed the location. The area surroundings around our cute apartment, was beyond my expectations. The countryside was beautiful. I even took a walk and it was so close to the city center. Anyone planning a trip to Wells, consider this cozy studio apartment. Be warned that this place is a gem and probably will book up quickly as the tourist season approaches.

We had a 1 night stay on our way to Cornwall. Lovely flat, very clean, photos do not do it justice.
Located above an old character pub. Food was excellent, with good vegetarian choices. Good selection of Ales. Pub beautifully decorated with charm & character. We travelled with our teenage son and a dog. Within short distance for walks and the village old tithe barn, which has been restored.
All in all, family & dog friendly, would highly recommend.
An interesting property, many will love it but not necessarily for everyone. I loved it. Rather like arriving at a relative’s large old house in the country that only gets used a few months of the year. Many good things: very spacious, comfortable beds (slept well), good modern bathrooms with plenty of showers, huge dining room, lovely garden - much the largest I’ve had with any rental, good large jacuzzi in good condition.
A good price for this standard of accommodation. Well-equipped, everything you needed for a short stay. Instructions were timely and clear on how to access the property. Car parking with allocated space. Good for centre of town.

We absolutely loved this delightful apartment with everything needed for a short stay - very comfortable and cosy. So close to the main street in Shepton Mallet. Lovely extras of fruit and biscuits on arrival. Ruth our host was helpful and lovely too. Thank you!
