For travelers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
A wonderful central situated place to stay to tour the beautiful area. The cottage is charming, excellently furnished and a pleasure to stay in, a place to return to not just for the cricket!! Definitely one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in, quality!!
The apartment is very tastefully decorated and we loved the fresh flowers and welcome pack for our dog.
There was everything we needed and more.
It was clean, very comfortable and nicely lit in the evening.
The location is great for walks, shops and restaurants.
The free parking
It is in a lovey little village, everyone appears to be friendly.
Apart from the above things that I didn't like. The apartment was, clean, a pint a milk there for your arrival which is sweet. Everything is there that you need example washing up liquid, asda's own tablets for washing machine.
You have 3 flights of stairs before getting to your room.
Small one room apartment, very cosy and nicely decorated with indian textiles etc. Exactly as described and perfect for two people on one night stay in Sedbergh. Well located for shops, pubs and walks in the Howgills.
We had a wonderful short stay at the Old Chair Workshop, briefly passing through on my husband’s cycle journey from Lands End to JoG. This apartment was a perfect slice of welcome comfort and coziness that was needed and we enjoyed an evening in, making full use of the kitchen with delicious supplies from the local butchers and Tebay services. Check in was very simple and our stay was very relaxed. We hope to visit again for a lengthier break.
