Friendly welcome and our room was ready several hours early. Loads of space in the apartment - very comfortable. Handy for local bus service which is excellent. A half hour walk into town, but we were glad of the walk back up the hill after our evening meals.
You will likely be greeted by a very friendly ginger cat.
The weather was unseasonably warm for late October and almost 20degC for the first few days. The nights were mild and rarely saw less than 15degC.
So much to see and do. Boat trips to Sark and Herm definitely not to be missed.
Amazing seafood in town too!

Lovely position with good access to the beach but a car is almost essential. Good kitchen fitted units. Fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Very small room at the back of the building with the balcony beside a hedge. The only table and 2 chairs were outside (no room inside) but I brought a chair in to sit on as the small sofa and the bar stools were uncomfortable. Very clean and the staff were very helpful when we needed more kitchen equipment. A lot of work is being done to improve the building and I am sure that things will improve. If you want a sea view make sure you include this in your booking.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Friendly and helpful staff with amazing facilities for both families and couples looking to stay close to the port. Well furnished and stocked apartment with all the amenities you would expect and more for a self catering apartment. Also got some Guernsey milk upon arrival which was a lovely gesture. Would hapilly stay here again.
The location: It's about ten minutes' walk to the town centre. Flat and along the main road.
The room: Mine was a single room. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet (once my neighbours stopped slamming their door!)
The room was clean and well-designed.
Given the cost of staying in Hotels in Guernsey, the Pandora was a more economic option than many. What I hadn't expected was such a pleasantly warm, nicely furnished clean room and a comfortable bed! The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our short stay and the evening meal our party had was significantly better than I'd anticipated. I would have no hesitation about staying there again.
I loved the room me and my mom stayed in, it felt like a little apartment, as it had the door straight outside on to a sun terrace area. The location was perfect, about a 10 minute work to the town. The breakfast was lovely and just the right amount.
Self catering, a must when you have a special needs with you, She was over the moon with her own bedroom and bathroom (normally a divan in a hotel room sharing with us). I found the sofa and bed too low for me, I suffer from back problems, this is not the fault of what was supplied, my wife found it very comfortable, it's just me and what I am used to.
Self catering and all appliances and equipment was in good condition and clean. Apartment was spacious , all very clean and tidy. Welcome information and area information provided. Excellent touch with a Gurnsey Gache left for us on arrival. Housekeeper very helpful and cheerful.
A reasonable room and simple breakfast in the morning. Totally adequate for a short stay but basic.
