Everything about this place was fantastic. The owner is a lovely man and was very welcoming and helpful, I was part of a group of 4, more than enough room for us all with everything you would need at the house. The house is also in a great location, just out of reach of "town noise" but a literal 1 minute walk to places you want to go! I visit Rostrevor a few times a year, think I've just found my new go-to place to stay!!

Wonderful view of the lough and surrounding scenery just out the window, well thought out amenities and decorations within all the rooms, including a fully-functional kitchen and a really comfy bed to top it off! Me and my girlfriend were very impressed and we’ve stayed in a good few places around Ireland. The host and hostess were very gracious too and polite over the phone when we had a query

The Ceral breakfast was a lovely gesture, There was tea, coffee, sugar, milk, jam, snacks, cheese, crackers,and beverages..and toiletries in the apartments,its the little things that make a stay enjoyable. The location is in a beautiful quiet area with all the amenities within walking distance and there's a lovely hotel/restaurant just around the corner that cook the most delicious food ie lunch/dinner its one of my favourite places to eat and the staff are so friendly and helpful too, I found no fault in the apartment i was staying in and would 💯 recommend anyone to stay here in the Downshire arms apartments you won't be disappointed 10/10

The welcome items were so much appreciated- fresh bread, scones, jam, milk, cereals, fruit.
Toiletries in the shower room are of a great quality.
The bed is amazing, so comfortable!

The host, Eddie met us on time and showed us the apartment. He was kind and considerate, going out of his way to make my daughter, her husband, baby and two cocker spaniels very welcome. He encouraged us to enjoy the gardens. He provided tea/ coffee biscuits and a few kitchen basics eg salt. Gracious host, would highly recommend.
