We usually park the car when we arrive then don’t use it again until we leave. It’s an ideal property for walking. The Weald and Downland Museum is about 2 miles away.
All the cottages we have stayed in are cosy and comfortable with facilities for cooking.
The owners are discreet but there if needed

The location was beautiful unfortunately a one night stay wasn't really enough. The accommodation had everything you would want and the recommendation of pub the three moles was inspired.

Hosts were incredibly warm and couldn’t do enough for us! The apartment was immaculate and very cosy. Close to everything by car, a perfect home away from home.

For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
The bed head board was hanging out and could fall on one's head, no window cotton, no duvet cover, foam was smaller than the bed, no room door lock, insect was flying around, room didn't smell good, there was a big dog in the flat. I have to leave after ten minutes, in fact it was so disappointing.
Please I would ask for a full refund. Not recommended at all.
We were made most welcome, and helped to find suitable parking. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The loft room was comfortable, with a welcome through breeze. Excellent attitude to energy capture and use.
Bootmenders is in a very tranquil, rural location yet within easy reach of many places of interest, excellent walks and good pubs within a few miles. We had the studio in the garden. It is very well equipped with its own galley kitchen and good sized ensuite walk-in shower. Ideal for one or two people, it is a very comfortable and relaxing home for exploring the region.
The welcome and ongoing support was warm, friendly and anything we needed was quickly provided.
Location perfect - very accessible to local town, with peaceful quiet surroundings, stunning countryside views in a beautiful well kept country house estate setting.
Good windows for ventiltaion for one of the hotest days of the summer - Loft remained beautifully cool.
Comfortable bed and excellent new shower/ bathroom.
Good kitchen with all amenities one would expect.

Wonderfully situated, spacious and comfortable appartement. South Downs is a great area, lots to see and do. The loft is a good base from where to do stuff.
The property was located off the road along a private driveway . It was very peaceful and comfortable for two people .
The property was very clean and had all the equipment you need for self catering . If we are looking to stay in the area again then we would definitely stay in this cottage again . We felt very comfortable in this cottage .
The location was lovely and the property was easy to find, thanks to the precise instructions which Diana had provided. Our stay was peaceful and relaxed. It must be said the the flat is delightful, extremely well equipped and comfortable, good wifi and TV. It is just a small thing, but we would have liked a Casserole Dish, so that we could prepared food for when we arrived back after a day out.
