The studio is very well equipped and comfortably furnished. It is bright and airy and has good heating. It has a lovely shower room with a very good shower. Jane is an excellent host and provided valuable local information and made sure we had everything for a comfortable stay. The location is very handy for Melrose, a 15 minute walk, and also close to get onto the A68 for exploring the local area or further afield into Edinburgh.

Has great facilities and a great host! Everything you need and really close to an asda, tesco and home bargains etc. Extra beds, orange juice, milk, cereal, coffee machine etc were supplied and was really nicely decorated. Host even offered a late checkout due to the next people not being able to make it due to weather.

Our host Jane was warm friendly and very helpful. The studio was in a quiet garden location with excellent walks straight from the door. The property was beautifully furnished and decorated with a fantastic shower and comfortable bed.

The G&A is an unpretentious, comfortable Borders hotel which is hard to fault. The rooms are basic but spotless. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. The breakfast is varied and satisfying. Overall, I really enjoyed my short stay and would happily return.
It was conveniently located which is why I chose it over our usual hotel. My spouse was not sure about being in an apartment but was really pleased with the place. They are so please with it they are asking to go back next year!
Great location, and adorable! The hosts were quick to respond when needed. There is street parking out front which was quite convenient. We walked over the chain bridge into Melrose (coffee, pubs, Melrose Abbey, groceries) which was lovely. There was coffee, tea and milk at the flat which was a nice touch & the view out to the garden so beautiful. We were also pleasantly surprised to find hair dryers with diffuser attachments! Everything was comfortable and clean, 10/10.
Great, compact apartment in gorgeous Melrose. Very comfortable and the substantial welcome hamper was a welcome surprise - thank you!. Walking distance to everything in town and parking very easy just behind. One bathroom upstairs and one downstairs.
