A very warm welcome on arrival. Accommodation was clean very comfortably everything you needed.Breakfast was so good plenty to choose from fresh milk,orange juice,ceral,fresh fruit and bread and pasties.Tea coffee.Was nice to come home after a day walking or days out to the lovely cakes left for use with a nice cup of coffee it rounded the day off would highly recommend staying at birchwood house.Great for walking,near to the town easy to get away on the bus for days out.One of the best bed and breakfast we have ever stopped in.Would definitely stop there again 100%.

Fabulous apartment ideally situated for visiting the castle and town. I have never stayed in self catering accommodation with so many facilities and equipment. Sally had provided eggs, bread, milk, fruit and even a dish of mini eggs for Easter which was very thoughtful and appreciated.
What an amazing place - the best short stay accommodation we've stayed in. A gorgeously furnished flat, as near to the centre as you could imagine but not noisy at all. It was stylishly and comfortably furnished, with a generous welcome pack. And a bonus was finding electric charging points almost outside. We couldn't have wanted for more.
Excellent location, right in the centre of the town. The apartment looked beautiful, and was well supplied with breakfast cereals, butter, jams, orange juice, bread and even a bottle of prossecco to welcome us. Our host was very helpful in letting us know about entry, parking etc.

Perfect location, I loved leaving the front door and being in the market Square. The size was good for a short stay and well equipped. Milk, tea and coffee were all provided (and welcomed) and parking at Amanda's house nearby was a blessing. Instructions to find the flat and how to get in were extremely clear.
