Property was easy to locate. The owner gave very comprehensive instructions. The apartment was clean and cosy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot water didn’t seem to work on the first morning, so I contacted the owner and he attended to the apartment to ensure everything was in working order. Very good communication throughout and overall a nice stay.

The hut is in a peaceful location, but close enough to Bishop Auckland to easily explore the art galleries, Roman fort and Bishop's Palace. Checking in was easy, and the hut was toasty warm on arrival. We loved the attention to detail in the renovation of the goods wagon, and the folder with photos of the process.
Clever use of a sofa bed, instead of a permanent bed, meant there was more room in the wagon during the day. Although there is a slight trade-off in comfort, it was worth it. We would happily stay here again.

The location was ideal - in the countryside yet in easy reach of services. The flat was open plan, tastefully decorated and equipped. The place had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere certainly for animal lovers. We spent a busy 2 days and could manage everything so we didn't need to bother our host.
Great modern feel to the property, friendly welcome by the host and wasn’t bothered by them during our stay. Really clean and good temperature throughout the apartment. Dog friendly! Mango and Chutney (dogs) were adorable!
The apartment above the stables was very nice and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Settee being a pull out bed was not comfortable to sit on for any length of time. The picture showing the terrace i don't know where that was as it has a set of patio doors which open onto the stable yard and has a glass screen across it.
The loft was clean, spacious, well thought out, and had everything that we needed. The bed was so comfortable! We loved hearing the sounds of the working farm. The location was great to explore the area, we only stayed a couple of nights but could have happily stayed for.a.week.
It was self catering ,but the people were all friendly and left you to get on at your own pace ,The horses and the goat were a lovely bonus. It was an excellent place to recharge your batteries,
