What a beautiful place! It was warm, cosy, clean and a perfect home from home! It actually smelt like my home…. So we slept like babies! Love the warm underfloor heating, the beautiful open wet room, the beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was just what we needed! We checked in early as requested and had a lovely lay in before we left the next morning. We didn’t get to explore the area very much as we were here for a wedding, but have would loved to stayed longer….. there are lots of leaflets and options in the barn for you to look through and plan a day out! Thank you so much!!

The apartment was immaculately clean, and had lots of facilities there for you. The host couldn't have been more helpful with the details and supplies there for you.
The apartment is very well located, very easy walk into the very centre of Bury.
Beds comfortable, 1 bed and 1 pull out bed. All linen provided, too.
There are the essentials such as tea, coffee and sugar there to start you off.
Really recommend for a stay.

Less than 5 minutes from superb Holy Trinity church and N.T.Melton Hall. Flatford Mill in easy reach. Friendly and efficient reception. We were relocated without fuss to 1st floor rooms when we had difficulty with the steep staircase to 2nd floor. Cases all taken to room from car. Good food.
Location was superb. Right next to the magnificent Holy Trinity Church. It was a delight to hear the bells ringing on Sunday morning. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby including Lavenham and Flatford Mill. Plenty of pubs and tea rooms on Hall Street and the cottage was lovely and cosy. Would definitely like to visit again one day
Loved the ambience. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. The welcome pack, especially the home made cake was well received. The beds were very comfortable. Both apartments were very spacious and would easily accommodate 4 adults. We were 3 so loads of room.
Breakfast was first class and the waitress was lovely. Twin room was a good size and the beds comfortable, the only issue was the room was so very hot and the fan didn’t work, after letting housekeeping know they sorted the fan issue and took the duvet off my bed and replaced with a sheet. This was done swiftly and without any problems. Excellent wifi connection.
Breakfast was very good. Our room was huge and very historic. We had a large bed and sofa great for watching the flat screen TV. No awkward corners plenty of space to move around.
Service was good food very average room not great bathroom dirty and shower leaked. No dressing gowns or mini fridge. Minimal complimentary tea/coffee. Despite acknowledging that prices have gone up this was expensive for the quality received. Food was supposed to be amazing but the creme brûlée was awful, the vol au vent was flat and the veg swimming in butter
Overall a disappointing visit although staff were pleasant
