The annex was beautiful, cosy and well maintained. Karen has a folder full of things to do, see and places to eat. The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. We didn't want to leave. It's in a nice peaceful area.

Excellent location, clean and modern, everything you need for short stay.
Nice Chinese nearby and parking easy enough across the road on bus car park which is massive.
Very warm house too, saw comment about cold, not sure how when you put radiators on it’s nice and warm.

Everything, from seeing the location that is so peaceful & quiet, to opening the door of the pod & the bathroom facilities, was just perfect for our visit. 2 black lambs & the 2 lovely horses right outside our pod were just idyllic. To be greeted by 2 scones with butter & jam to have with a much needed coffee, we sat outside enjoyed the scones & the scenery. We loved our short stay, we will definitely be back. Thank you so much.
Location was fantastic, lovely short stay in the Hut even though it was freezing outside it was nice and cozy inside, The owners Carole and Andy are ever so nice very friendly and approacable, will be coming back soon. Thanks Both.
Carole gave us a very warm welcome, the hut was fantastic clean and cosy, we had freshly baked scones on arrival, the place is picturesque, we will be booking again, had a very relaxing break. thank you so much for letting us stay x
Thank you for a wonderful short stay in a beautiful spot with lovely pod. The host was really welcoming and helpful and the pod was perfect for our needs. Lots of attention to small details...
We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended for two more nights! The lodge is cosy and well laid out, kitchen was perfect for self catering and prepping meals for hikes. The location is peaceful and quiet in farmlands, but also close enough to a grocery shop in Appleby. A great place to stay for hiking and exploring the area. Lovely garden and beautiful surrounding views, and host Debbie was welcoming and friendly. overall brilliant place to stay.
