Really comfortable and spacious. A proper home from home and one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in months! And there’s an excellent Chinese takeaway just round the corner so we didn’t cook (though the kitchen facilities are excellent!). Really lovely coastline to explore nearby.

Well equipped, tastefully furnished and very convenient for the station for visits to Edinburgh and Burntisland. Although close to the station, it was a very quiet road and not much noise from the neighbours. There was a well stocked co-op a short walk away and a couple of pubs (but didn't try them).

A great base and the hosts couldn't be more helpful. We had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The flat was warm and well equipped. Windgates is quiet , however, we were aware of this so not disappointed. It was situated perfectly to visit the surrounding area of Fife.
Their hospitality started us right, as we felt we had inconvenienced them due to our late check-in...our flight was delayed, luggage was delayed, and rental service was backed up...each by a minimum of 1 hour. We had a 7 night trip planned for Scotland using 6 different B&Bs/Hotels, this had the best breakfast by far. I enjoyed the porridge, especially with the shot of whiskey, although my husband had some of it. He enjoyed the Full Scottish...again he said the best he had. The view was amazing, our room looked out over the bay.
I loved everything. The hosts are very organised and they know what they are doing. Cleanliness of the highest order. AND there is a lovely surprise in this TWO bedroom flat. Free street parking with ample spaces All the time.
