Close to the town but just far enough away at the same time. Mountain View, sea view, clean and cosey and quiet so nice. Paul and Dermot were very helpful. It was a great stay we wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back.

The Ceral breakfast was a lovely gesture, There was tea, coffee, sugar, milk, jam, snacks, cheese, crackers,and beverages..and toiletries in the apartments,its the little things that make a stay enjoyable. The location is in a beautiful quiet area with all the amenities within walking distance and there's a lovely hotel/restaurant just around the corner that cook the most delicious food ie lunch/dinner its one of my favourite places to eat and the staff are so friendly and helpful too, I found no fault in the apartment i was staying in and would 💯 recommend anyone to stay here in the Downshire arms apartments you won't be disappointed 10/10

It is very beautiful, cosy, comfortable and very warm place. Views from each room overlooking the hills and forest, which makes it a super relaxing and quiet. Pete was amazing, kind and very helpful with everything, so much grateful for advice on hidden gems in a forest and with car issues.

We stayed in Lyza’s loft before and were delighted when it was available for our recent trip. It is exceptionally good value, the property is so clean, the large kitchen/dining area is a dream and the pool table kept the teenager and adult entertained. The hostess is superb at communicating and facilitated a late check out on the last morning, which we really appreciated. We look forward to returning again.
Lyza's Loft is a special find. Beautiful location in the Mourne mountains, great facilities, including a kitchen/dining room, very reasonable price and excellent engagement from the owner, Bronagh. The main bedroom also has a sitting area with TV. If we're in the area again, we'll look to stay longer next time.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. There was everything we could have needed for our stay. The double bed was super comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. It was lovely to wake up to the rooster ☺️

It was a spacious place to stay, with everything you could possibly need. It was extremely clean, beds were comfortable and the host was very attentive. The pool table was an extra bonus, and a lot of fun. It is a very modern yet cosy apartment, with beautiful views. There are shops and places to eat a short drive away. These hosts are doing a great job.

Lovely rural location, great views, plenty of baby animals in the fields. A short drive to food, shops and scenery/walks. The two boys (and me) loved the pool table. Good wifi, tv, etc. Very good communication from our host, we didn't want for anything. It would be a fantastic base for exploring the Mournes, we visited Spelga Dam and Castlewellan easily during our short stay.
