It was so comfortable and clean. Janice did such a nice job at updating the apartment to make it very warm and welcoming. Of our 2 week trip, this was our favorite spot. We loved how the living room / kitchen was separate than the bedroom. The views were incredible. It’s not in a main city but it’s centrally located to Old Man of Storr, Fairy Glen and Kilt falls. It’s a 20 min drive to Portree which is where we had dinner and walked around. It was very lovely. We wish we had stayed longer. We definitely will come back!

Perfect location in the middle of Skye, 30 to 60 minutes away from all the important places. The cottage is stunning. Everything is new, modern, spotless, elegant and very tastefully made. The hosts were friendly and we really liked the attention to details (tulips, room perfume, a few snacks, wood for the fireplace). You have everything you could need in terms of facilities. We stayed for almost a week and felt like home. It's the perfect place to stay and relax. You can enjoy the stunning views of the loch during the day, maybe you are lucky and see a few deer. Later you can look at stars from the bed or maybe from the living room, while you listen to the fire crackling in the fireplace. Sounds magical? It really is!

Amazing cabin, tasteful decor, comfortable. Everything you need was there. The hosts even left a breakfast package (bread, butter, jam, etc.). They had put the heat up in the main area and bedroom, so we were nice and warm when entering. They have a washing machine, which was very welcomed at that point of the trip. Everything was very clean and well thought of! Would 100% recommend. This is very close to Portree, if you have a car, and much more quiet. We had a little difficulty finding it. Instructions were detailed, but we would turn around before what looked like a private house’s driveway, but wasn’t. It was a continuation of the road. We tried to call the hosts, unsuccessfully, and had to ask people for directions (they didn’t know the cabin but were very helpful!). When we realized the road continued, the host’s house was the next one and the cabin was located as detailed in the instructions.

We loved everything about this property . Communication exceptional . Accommodation top floor 2bdr flat updated kitchen and bathroom looks like it was also recently painted too .There were jams and butters in the fridge for our use , soaps ,bodywash ,shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, plenty of toilet paper bathtowels and flannels ( facewashers) ,only place that did have them !! Comfortable couch in lounge and dining table and chairs, washing machine is downstairs also has a clothes line so you can hang your clothes to dry outside or you could use the clothes rail provided . The view from loungeroom and kitchen lovely The location is amazing . Parking is available out the front across the road from the flat , beds were comfortable, lots of information in the folder on the flat and were to eat locally and places to visit .would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to family,friends, and you !!

This is a wonderful location, very clean, welcoming tray of tea and cookies. It was convenient to the grocery store, shops, restaurants, etc. The warming clothes drying rack was a very nice perk for us who are used to a clothes dryer. We loved the town of Portree. The outdoor deck was nice for spending time outside. Four adults were very comfortable there.
