We had a wonderful stay in the Rockery Suite. The house is in a beautiful, quiet location. It's close to Windermere Lake, Coniston Water and many great walks. The nearest Co-op is 10 mins drive away (Hawkshead).
The apartment was spacious, the bed was very comfy, the shower was good. Kitchen was small, but well equipped.
Location was very good the village is just a stones throw away with plenty of choice for food and drink. The hut is just as described and has everything you need for a short stay.
Clean , spacious , cosy apartment. A variety of board games in the big lounge for your entertainment. Great shower. Super comfy beds . Most essentials provided .Location just 5 min walk to the pretty village.
The grounds are stunning, the self catering kitchen is the best I’ve ever been to and we travel a lot with 3 children, we stayed in a bell tent and we especially loved the fire pit to toast marshmallows. We arrived at 5.30pm and checked in no problem then we had tea in the restaurant and the food is delicious.
Apartment was located brilliantly, and had all that we need for a wonderful stay. The owners have thought of everything to ensure you have a great holiday. We’d definitely recommend!
