Most recent in a series of times I have stayed at this property which is perfectly located next to Hadrian's Wall.
It's a great spot to go walking in either direction along the wall and other numerous local walks, or visit the various local roman sites and digs etc. The adjacent pub is a bonus for excellent food and drink.
Offering a tennis court and city view, Town View Alston is located in Alston, 25 km from Thirlwall Castle and 33 km from Housesteads Roman Fort.

On entering the apartment,I didn't know what to expect.
It was spacious with large bed , wardrobe, bedside cabinets and dressing table. ,well laid out.
A 2 seater leather couch and chair placed opposite a wood log burner stove.
There's a fully fitted kitchen at the other end with a table and 2 chairs.
3 windows that looked into the market square and one facing up the main road.
Hardly any noise from people or traffic.
Apartment was very clean and to a high standard.

Cosy, good location, well equipped and clean. plenty of wardrobe space. Great little base from which to explore the area. Directions to location were very clear which was great as it was dark when we arrived. Host was lovely, checking in on us to ensure all was well
