The flat was very well appointed, very clean, lovely wood burning fireplace with wood supplied that helped keep us warmer in an unseasonably cold June. The hosts Simon and Sharon were very responsive and brought us anything we needed without delay. TV works instantly and very easy to figure out! Fridge with freezer exceptionally spacious. Walking distance to grocery store (across the street), nice bakeries and gift shops and pharmacy all close by, and great Indian restaurant next door. Lovely walking paths just outside of town.

Hosts Karen and Alick were very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about the area and Scotland in general. The self catering apartment on the top floor (41 steps in the stairs) had everything we needed and more, and our hosts kindly supplied bread, milk and eggs to get us started. The house has been impeccably restored to its former glory and is welcoming as a home away from home. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a luxury stay in Grantown and I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel staff are nice and helpful. We had fun sitting at the bar and chatting with them. The little bar and fire place has a nice ambiance to have sit and drink. The food was good. :) It is a good basic boutique hotel for short stay if you have car or book a tour and want explore the area and not looking for a luxury stay. For us it was a good stay.

The apartment was immaculate with everything you could possibly need. Communication with Dawn was great, with clear instructions how to get to and into the property. Little things like a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival make all the difference!

I loved my short stay at the hotel Room was really nice, clean and comfy. Enjoyed my breakfast and special plaudits to the restaurant manager/hostess overseeing breakfast on the 6th( blonde lady Pam?) who was wonderful. ⭐
