We have visited the Sorrel Horse for over 40 years and lived in the village for over 10 years before moving away so it was with excitement that we discovered that you can stay in the apartment above the pub! The accommodation was perfect for our needs - warm, comfortable and spacious. We were visiting friends in the village and made full use of the pub below which has now returned to being a proper village pub offering great hospitality and excellent food! Check in was easy and although access is by a metal outside staircase it was well lit and easy to navigate (and us being in our mid 70’s!) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!
