Could tell it had been cleaned before we arrived and everything was exactly as described. Also noticed the owner had taken onboard previous improvement requests as certain things that people commented on as missing were included in our stay (such as a bath mat for example).

The property was beautiful, well located and beautifully appointed. Spacious and close to lovely pubs and walks. The host, Donna, was really friendly and prompt to reply to messages and the little extras in the cottage were very nice. We stayed as a couple with 2 large dogs and there was plenty of room for us all.

The accommodation was better than I had anticipated, the studio apartment had everything we needed, the continental breakfast was in the room ready for the morning, and there was plenty of tea and coffee and milk available. The apartment was well decorated and the bathroom was nicely set out and fully tiled to a high standard, the apartment was lovely and clean and I would definitely use again next time we go Chesterfield, and I'd definitely recommend anyone to book this accommodation. Just got back from our few days away. Loved this studio apartment, super clean, shower lovely, bed comfortable, nice little hamper for breakfast. Super cosy flat with everything you need, close to town and all amenities and close to buxton and bakewell. It is in the owners property boundaries but separate to their own home so very private. Nice little covered decking area and would be lovely in the Summer months. Lovely touch to leave a 20th wedding anniversary board for us :) Would certainly book again!!! Thank you to our hosts.
