The Pub is a unique and fun place to stay! The accommodations have all the comforts of home—plus a truly authentic ‘pub’ atmosphere. We had initially planned to go out to dinner the evening we arrived but the room was so cozy and welcoming we decided to order food delivery and eat in the ‘pub’. It must have been so much fun designing and furnishing this property:). The owners are very helpful and responsive—and the fact they welcome well behaved pets is an added bonus. Highly recommended!

Excellent location next to the Castle car park. Our room had its own front door next to the main entrance & the room itself was great, very spacious, like a small flat. It had everything you could want & the bed was very comfy. The breakfast was really good, freshly cooked to order, with Greek yoghurt & fresh fruit to start.
Location was perfect, parking available, very friendly hosts, excellent breakfast and bed so comfortable.

Lovely apartment, privacy, use of garden, parking space adjacent to apt, lovely grounds & view from back garden. Beautiful street and short walk to town. Easy access to keys, host answered all questions by email quickly.
Quirky greatcroom with a partial self catering feel but a small fridge and cutlery would be great but the room was warm comfortable and the music on Sunday was a great evening but if you don't like music don't go on a Saturday or a Sunday
we loved the very stylish and exceptionally clean Loft apartment, also the peaceful garden patio, the off road parking space, the easy access to loads of touristy spots. great hosts and location.
We stayed 3 nights at the Loft. It is a superb apartment, clean and spacious, and perfectly located to explore the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley (including attractions like Chepstow Castle and Tintern Abbey) as they are only a short drive away. Although we did not meet our hosts personally, communication with them by e-mail was easy and they were really helpful. The biscuits, tea, and coffee were a nice welcome touch.
Absolutely beautiful loft apartment,very modern with lovely homely touches that made it feel like home from home,the bath was amazing!Gorgeous location with beautiful views,a lovely little terrace area aswell.We will definately return here soon.
