It was actually an apartment rather than a room, decorated beautifully and very comfortable accommodation. Very peaceful location in the middle of beautiful countryside with lovely views. Fresh milk provided by host. Excellent courtyard cafe next door.

The apartment is very comfortable. The ‘Dungeon’ laundry room is very interesting. It was the only interior space that really said ‘castle’, besides the thickness of the walls.

The location is ideal - we walked to the Wallace Monument and drove to the town centre. The apartment felt safe and secure. It was also very quiet.
We were met by the host and communication was good. The apartment appeared clean and spacious. We would return to this apartment.

Lovely wee apartment which was extremely comfortable, had everything you would need for a short stay and was spotlessly clean. Easy to find and in a good location for exploring Callander and the surrounding area. We'd definitely stay again and would also recommend it to others.
