Angela welcomed us on arrival and left some milk, tea, coffee and biscuits for us. Fabulous barn, nicely decorated with art posters from old movies and other memorabilia. Lots of space for 2 couples or a family. Not much Angela can do about it, but be aware that bed 2 (the double) is through the twin bedroom, which means anyone sleeping in that room needing a bathroom visit during the night has to pass through the other bedroom. And the shower room is in bed 2. Neither was a problem for us, but light sleepers and those with modesty issues might not like it. Angela brought in a fab continental breakfast for us. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent little property located just behind the high street. Beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. Communication from the host was really good and nice little touches left (including chocolate biscuits!) to make the stay that little bit more special.

Lovely room! More spacious than expected Gorgeous decor and a really cute and quaint feel. There was milk and crumpets in the kitchen which is a lovely touch.

Staying here was absolutely fantastic! The apartment was lovely, clean, and well renovated. The host was incredible and we got on very well. He offered a great service and said if I had any problems, he would take care of them. I’m very impressed with the experience and would definitely stay here again, thank you!
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
The place, location and staff were all fantastic, the only slight down side was that the pub doesn't open on a Monday so the evening was a bit flat. The food however the next evening was absolutely superb as were our hosts. The views from our bedroom and all the surroundings are splendid. Would definitely go back.

A nice little apartment to stay, they've made it separate to the family cottage even though it's not they've done it so well to be private. Everything you need, quaint, kitchen, bed , bathroom, living room all in one. It's exactly the experience I was expecting, an old cottage with character. Great location to stay and rest while traveling around sightseeing.

Location was perfect for exploring the Peak District, far enough from busy roads, but with easy access to multiple routes. As for the apartment, everything was great, very clean and tidy. The hosts were friendly and approachable! Everything was perfect for our short stay! No hesitation in recommending this apartment.
We really enjoyed our short stay, and will look at staying again in the future. Everything was made available, that we could ever require in the apartment. Even the dog was left a bag of treats and a bed to sleep in. The provided robes were an excellent touch, and useful for letting the dog out at 6am! It is in a lovely quiet location to recharge the batteries.
