For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. We came for Luss Highland Games and love this area. We used to come to Scotland self catering with our caravan but staying in the hotel was a treat. My husband enjoyed the cooked breakfasts in the hotel whilst I enjoyed the close proximity to Loch Long to walk with our dog who was staying with us.
We were initially placed in a sub standard room which smelt damp. We approached the staff and she moved us to another room. This was fine as there was a spare room. In the high season it may be an issue. The initial room should be removed from rental as it is not up to standard
The views at the back of the property was beautiful. The bedrooms were comfortable and large and the cooking facilities were adequate for a short stay.
Good size apartment, wonderful view of the loch, many kitchen appliances, including a heater to keep you extra warm and cozy. Big couch and close to a bar/food, There was a sign that made it easy to find, I was surprised the flat was open/unlocked, I guess it must be a safe area.
Awesome breakfast booked as extra as we were in self catering flat, but nothing was too much problem for them. Hot, well presented and delicious. Best of both worlds. We could suit ourselves but were also able to use bar, restaurant and b&b facilities which made for a great stay celebrating new year. Definitely will be back
