Loved the decor of the apartment. It was quiet and managed to park on the street.
It was clean and everything we needed. The instructions for the key safe and WiFi were clear and great communication with the host who gifted a box of biscuits and christmas card which was lovely as we stayed Christmas Day to visit family.
We were able to check in earlier at 1pm which was brilliant and really appreciated.
Perfect all round and grateful the host even decorated with Christmas decorations which we really appreciated also.
It was small but Perfect for our family of 3.

I loved the cottage, super cute from the outside. Also really close from the lovely Long Man inn for diner. Sheets were clean, kitchen and bathroom clean.

We had such a lovely couple of days staying in Walkers Rest. We much prefer self catering to staying in a hotel and this was a cosy, comfortable place with everything we needed. Many thanks to our lovely host Sharon for her hints and tips while we were there.
This was an ideal location for us to visit family and Alfriston is a lovely village. The property had everything we needed for a short stay and was clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the welcome gifts were much appreciated.
Walker's Rest is a very nicely furnished, comfortable flat with everything you need. Handy to have off-street parking and it's set in a beautiful location close to lovely walks. The host is lovely, responded quickly and a neighbour was also on hand for any practical help.

Breakfast was not included and we did not expect it.
While the location would, at other times of the year, be convenient, in the height of Summer it was incredibly noisy with cars and lorries thundering past continuously. Furthermore, lorries were queuing just outside the apartment creating noxious fumes. We had to keep the windows closed.
spacious accommodation for a couple with adult son. proximity to Glyndebourne allowed us a really enjoyable evening. the apartment is clean and beautifully decorated, with plenty of thoughtful touches.
The location was excellent. The communications and information from the host were spot on and on time. A perfect self catered apartment and a welcome stock of essentials were provided. Great atmosphere and neighbours friendly too!
