It was the most delightful place to stay. Chantel quite charming and very helpful. No concerns in accommodating us and our muddy bikes. The attention to detail was standout, spare adapters, battery charger, hand cream and even english breakfast tea bags!
I hope that one day I can return.

Caesar was a great host, very responsive and checked that we arrived ok and if we had any questions. Our first time to Tournus in the Bourgogne area, a lovely and obviously quite affulent town. We were there early Jan, post the New Year so a number of restaurants were closed, which is common across France this time of year. Caesar gave us clear instructions on where to park, we used the free public parking and got a space very close to the apartment but imagine it may not be the same during peak holiday periods.

What a great find! Such good value. Gîte Chanay, managed by Christoph who lives on the ground floor with his family, is amazing. Thank you so much for your hospitality and sharing your lovely home with us. There is so much space!
The location is perfect (nice and quiet, set in beautiful grounds) just a stone’s throw and short walk from the old town. Our family of four (children 21 and 17) had two huge bedrooms, big kitchen, lounge/TV room, bathroom and separate loo.
We just booked the one night in April as a stopover on our way to the Alps but wished we could have stayed longer. I would like to visit Tournus now in the summer. I bet it’s gorgeous.

Tournus is a lovely medieval town just off the motorway with several restaurants. It is an ideal stopping point between Calais and the south of France. The apartment is in a central location and full of character. Young children are well provided for with cots in each bedroom.
Pitch black at night! Parking on the street was easy as it was not a market day. We have a trailer with bikes, but we were not unduly concerned about their security. Parking is free overnight

Very friendly host, Chantal, who showed us around in the apartment and even provided all supplies for a breakfast.
The apartment contained everything we needed for our stay. Very good bed and bathroom and equipped kitchen.
Location was perfect, we could easily go to the center of the town on foot.
We very much appreciated our stay and can recommend this apartment to everyone.

The staff was fantastic- great breakfast and delicious dinner. Location is very good. The hotel itself has an old vibe, but it’s great for short stays with family that won’t break your bank!
In some respects, the property was 'undersold'. It is in fact a Bedsit rather than an apartment, with just the en-suite shower room separate. But the size, decor & facilities are modern, tasteful and spot on in this old property the historic centre of this lovely Saone-side town. Barely 2 minutes walk away there is a free car park, and the main streets of the town and the River are 3-5 minutes away. As an overnight stay for us (or maybe a base for a few days sight seeing for a couple, it is great
