We loved the location, the apartment was adorable, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had enough cookware for our meals. We loved having the windows open as much as possible. And the shower was great! We were able to walk everywhere and took a very affordable local bus to see the WWII beaches. We loved the local grocery store and places to shop and eat were amazing.

The apartment is on a spaceous ancient barn that has been tastefully converted into a stylish modern apartment, with high wood beamed ceilings, skylights, a very functional kitchenette, every ammenity that we needed. It has lots of character but it is also very practical and comfortable... we felt at home. We also liked the quiet farm ambiance surrounding the property. We did not meet our hosts, but they left a bottle of Normandy hard cider for us in the refridgerator! :)

Beautiful house with gorgeous pool and jacuzzi (even though I didn’t use the pool ans jacuzzi). My room was decorated to perfection had large windows that let in a lot of light. The space felt very comfortable, cozy and was spacious. The couple who run the place were so sweet and took such good care of me. Since I had to leave early for a work meeting on two of the days I was there ans wasn’t able to have breakfast l, Nathalie would leave me a basket filled with of goodies the evening before. Also, Phillipe drove me into town every morning. It was very sweet. Also near by are the botanical gardens, which were very nice to walk through.
For travelers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. It was a beautiful fresh, clean and fully equipped apartment. The location is quiet, peaceful and yet not far from shops. Bayeux is an excellent place to base yourselves to visit the D Day sites and museums. I really enjoyed my stay.
