this is an incredibly romantic château with the perfect blend of old and new. as we climbed the 15th century tower stairs to get to our quarters, I was mesmerized, but also curious if we were going to half to haul in our water from the well outside and use chamber pots. not at all! the apartment has been newly and beautifully renovated, complete with the most comfortable beds and bathrooms. and the spa room on the ground floor was perfect for our weary travelers.

Absolutely amazing, so comfortable and in a great location. Spacious, clean and even had a kitchen with cooking equipment. The bed was so comfy, the sheets were white and clean. The host was absolutely incredible and accomodating. Thank you for letting us in early and doing a load of laundry for us. 1000% recommend, we were so sad to leave this morning, easily could have stayed for longer.
We got a very warm welcome from the host, and she had provided facilities for hot drinks - as well as welcoming chocolates and cold beers! The apartment was spacious, well equipped with all two people would need for their stay, a nice bathroom with a big shower and a very comfortable bed.
If you are a pilgrim on the Camino looking for a quiet place to stay with your own space, bedroom, bathroom and shower, I highly recommend Catherine’s beautiful apartment. It’s in the perfect location, close to a great restaurant, the tourist office, and some historic sights. If you are not a pilgrim and you are looking for a place to stay for a night or more, this is perfect! Catherine is so nice, she even caught up with me as I was leaving for the Chemin, to give me one of my treasures that fallen off my arm!
The apartment was beautiful. So clean, well decorated and welcoming. A very generous space. The communication with Christine, our host was exceptional and she was so kind and helpful. Location brilliant. Our only regret was that we would have liked to stay longer! Honestly the nicest place we have stayed in on this trip.
