The location in the centre of Brioude was ideal for a one night stopover - right in amongst the shops and restaurants. We managed to find parking just around the corner (the property itself is on a single lane one way road in the town) and there seemed a number of other places to park nearby.
The apartment, reached via a relatively steep set of stone circular stairs and using a keysafe for self checkin, was clean and tidy and very well decorated in a modern way, with quality fixtures and fittings. It seemed to be recently set up and "new".
Very nice touch to have had some tea (a range of different types) and coffee for the Nespresso machine supplied in the large roomy kitchen with plenty of seating and crockery, cutlery and utensils etc.
Chez romain offers accommodations in Massiac, 26 miles from Col d'Entremont. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge.
For travelers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
The apartment was in the heart of a small village.
